SEO v1.0
Two audiences now: search engines that rank pages, and answer engines that quote them. The technical setup serves both; the per-post checklist is mostly for the second.
The current procedure
- Technical baselineRank Math in easy mode, post-name permalinks, XML sitemap covering posts, pages, journal entries and workflows, and an LLMs.txt file so answer engines can read the site’s structure. Homepage title and description written by hand rather than templated. adopted
- Schema by content typeArticles for hub posts, HowTo for workflow pages. Workflow pages are procedures, so the structured data should say so. adopted
- Answer-engine checklist per postA direct answer in the first forty words, named entities, dated claims, at least one comparison table, and a schema block. This is the part most AI content skips, and it is the difference between being crawled and being cited. evaluated
- Search Console and BingVerification and sitemap submission through the Rank Math Google connection, then Bing by importing from Search Console rather than re-verifying. watching
- Search adsNot started. Planned as small paid tests against hub-two posts once organic data shows which trades convert. watching
Sub-stacks: answer engine optimisation, classic search engine optimisation, and search ads.
